Published in August 2017 by Vajra Books, “Reply from Tibet” by Dharma Ratna Yami is an English translation of 1952’s “Sandeya Lisah”, published in Nepal by Lhasa merchant turned freedom fighter Dharma Ratna Yami (1915-75).
The epic is based on a love story between a Newar merchant and a Tibetan girl. The English translation is by DB Gurung.
