Zangdok Palri: The Lotus Light Palace of Guru Rinpoche compiles various visions of the pure land of Zangdok Palri as depicted in exquisite wall paintings from ancient historic temples in Bhutan, thangkas from private collections, and various spiritual texts.  The book features an in-depth explanation of Zangdok Palri by the prolific writer and celebrated scholar of Tibetan Buddhism, Tulku Thondup Rinpoche, author of The Healing Power of Mind, and Masters of Meditations and Miracles.  It contains descriptions of many masters visions and experiences in Guru Rinpoche's Copper Colored Mountain. Dungchen Sangay Dorji, a leading Bhutanese historian and author of The Biography of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, provides a detailed study of Zangdok Palri’s wall painting and thangkas in Bhutan. Further more the book takes readers on a photographic journey through the sacred sites of Guru Rinpoche in Bhutan, accompanied by a spiritual guide written by the brilliant Buddhist scholar, Lama Kunzang Tengye.  The rich texts are complemented by over 400 awe-inspiring photographs in 5-color plate.  Inspirational and timeless, this book is a meticulous photographic documentation of visual masterpieces of the celestial paradise of Zangdok Palri.
