The autor, born 1934 in Gyantse, went to schhol in Darjeeling, India. 1953 he returned to Tibet, and worked as teacher and office worker. 1977 he went to Lhasa and worked at the Tibet Education Bureau. 1985 he was engaged at the Tibet Tourism Bureau, until his retirement in 1992.
