The material in this volume "The Political Philosophy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama" has been arranged in four parts. Part I, "Exposition of the Issues of Tibet," consists of his speeches and writings. Part II, "Interaction with World Media" comprises his interviews to the Press. Part III "Organizing the Tibetan Diaspora," contains his intimate talks and exhortations to his compatriots in Tibet, as well as to those who are in exile along with him, particularly the members of the Parliament in Exile, officials in the various departments of the Tibetan administration and members of the Special Congress of the Tibetan people. In Part IV, "Statements on National Uprising Day" are included observations made by His Holiness to mark the Tibetan National Uprising Day year after year on March 10, exhorting his countrymen to remain steadfast in their struggle without losing hope or faith in the inevitability of their ultimate success
