This book is a short, comprehensive account of all the aboriginal tribes of the Indian sub-continent. For the purpose of easy presentation, the aboriginal tribes are divided into five separate groups: the Tribes of Northern India; Nomadic Tribes in the Plains of Northern India; the Tribes in the Central Area; the Tribes in Eastern India; and the Tribes in South India.
